Caliber are a US truck manufacturer who specialise in high performance under-carriages for longboards. This is a traditional RKP (Reverse Kingpin) model with a robust, rugged design which lends itself towards aggressive, downhill riding as well as being a versatile all-round cruiser.
Caliber trucks have two build possibilities. The first (how you will receive the truck) is a neutral-turn ride with a snappy return-to-centre. This is preferred by most riders due to it's stability and predictability. However, the Hanger on Caliber trucks can be flipped around the pivot cup, resulting in a more dive-orientated ride. With a flipped hanger, the Caliber trucks offer a very lively carve more suited to agile riding and freestyle/dance riding at slower speeds.
This version is the 'Fifty Caliber' and built for all-round riding. The fifty degree hanger angle ensures that riders get the optimum blend of stability and carve from their truck. These reverse kingpin trucks have been further optimised in stability with Blood Orange Bushings. These are configured as two 89a durometer barrels to avoid high speed wobbles and offer superb , predictable rebound after cornering. Like all Caliber Trucks, the kingpin is made of grade 8 steel to ensure your trucks will stay in one piece, no matter how hard you push them.

The Fifty Caliber is stable at high speeds while also having an optimal angle for making strong carves. The hanger is not only reversible but when flipped there is no rake to throw off the ride. The bushing seats are symmetrical with an optimal setup for any style of bushing. The pivot of the baseplate is self-contained keeping it from having any weakness. The Blood Orange Bushings at an 89a durometer make for an ideal responsiveness. General setup suggestions
For optimal traction, power, and control, we usually suggest a 30-degree truck at the tail and a 45-degree truck at the nose, with stiffer bushings at the tail than at the nose. Use two 45-degree trucks on symmetrical (twin-tip) freeride decks. Use stiffer bushings if you’re heavier and/or taller than average, softer bushings if you’re lighter and/or less tall.
A REVOLUTION IN RKP TRUCK TECH
Stabilised Geometry with no Added Parts
Aeon bushings pair to form a cylindrical hollow that locks around barrel-shaped hanger elements – a true bearing with no added parts. This patented design forces the hanger to rotate inside the tubular channel in perfect alignment with the pivot axis. Eliminates slop, aligns and stabilise geometry without the downsides of support pins, spherical bearing inserts, or hanger plugs. Quick response from centre and noticeably smoother, cleaner turns – even at deep lean angles that destabilise the steering of ordinary RKP trucks.
Advanced Control
Beyond barrel vs. cone: Aeon bushings have a wide hexagonal shape and tapering sides, for a smooth, intuitive resistance profile through a larger steering range. Tall but not too tall, for deep turns with no dive. Self-lubricating formula to prevent squeaking.
Lightweight & Affordable
Optional hollow axles, elegant body sculpting, and the first-ever hollow pivot channel (extending into bearing section). Precision engineering is what counts, and the Aeon packs it in a moderately-priced cast design. (CNC body parts add high cost with no guarantee of high performance.)
Precision Fit
Custom contouring creates mechanical lock between board-side bushing and base-plate – no washer needed. Faced hangers for perfect interface with inside bearings. Top of base-plate sloped for flush contact with deck concave when drop-through-mounted. (Nut seats kept flat.)
Axle Height, Axle Offset, and Roll Center
Axle Height: 60.4mm / 2.38 inches from baseplate bottom to axle midpoint (39.7mm / 1.56 inches when hanger is flipped)
Axle Offset (Rake): 9.0mm / 0.35 inches
Roll Center: 10.4mm / 0.41 inches above axle midpoint (same distance below axle midpoint when hanger is flipped)
More Axle Offset (or Rake) pushes the Roll Center higher (towards the deck), resulting in quicker lean response and better wheel traction. Less Axle Offset (or Rake) leaves the Roll Center lower (near the axles), resulting in better lean control and stability.

Designed to fit into the hanger of Rogue trucks, Venom Insert Bushings are poured in the Venom High-Performance Formula and available in 85A, 93A and 97A. Each pack comes with 2 insert bushings (enough for one skateboard).
Venom Insert Bushings for Rogue Trucks remove lateral play from the truck and are designed to ensure the hangar pivots around the kingpin correctly, without slop. They allow for the truck to respond to less rider input, giving you a more direct turn than a conventional reverse kingpin truck. Using urethane as our insert gives your trucks and turn more responsive feel without the harsh ride or twitchy feel you may experience with sphericals. The softer duros will give you more of a Gray area when sliding, which is great for free-ride and power-slides.
