  2. Gora Fire Contact Sword
Designed to combine the disciplines of contact staff and stage fighting, the contact fire sword is a truly unique prop. The Gora Contact sword can be used for mock fights and spinning just as the standard Gora fire sword but this sword's special weighting shifts the balance point within the handle making contact moves possible. The core of the sword is made of aluminium 7075, which keeps weight to a minimum while making sure there is no risk of bending or breaking during normal use. This lightweight material gives the sword an overall weight of just 966g with a total a length of 1260mm. Within the pommel of the sword there is a 50mm diameter steel ball counterweight weighing 500g. As this counterweight is more than half of the swords total weight it moves the balance point to roughly halfway down the handle. The precise balance points are marked on the handle for both dry and fully dipped weights as these change as the fuel is burnt. The handle is padded with spongy EPDM rubber, covered with Tennis grip tape and shaped to improve control for the player. As with the standard Gora fire sword, the handle is separated from the burning surface by a silicone disc. This protects the handle and reduces the chance of burns to the user. Please note, Silicon is heat resistant, not fire proof. Do not hold the sword in such a way that the silicon is above the flame for any extended period.
    - Take care during transportation. Heavy impacts on the side of the blade may cause damage.
    - Using hotter burning fuels such as benzene or white gas will reduce the lifetime of the kevlar and may damage the silicone disc.
    - The contact sword is not designed for full contact fighting and will not survive the impact of strong blows.
    - Use very carefully! This is a dangerous prop designed to be used only by skilled contact staff spinners. Only ignite the prop if you have the necessary skill and abliity.

  3. Gora Fire Juggling Sword

Juggling torches with huge flames. While with the normal torches you can see only dots running around, these swords show how the blades are turning, and make a much nicer effect.

The silicone disc protects your hands. The handles are ergonomic and the grip is made of a soft, spongy plastic. The weight balance is very close to the normal clubs.

Did you ever had the feeling that your juggling torches are too small for the stage? With this Fire Juggling Swords you will never get that feeling.

The weight of a piece is 265g.

    • Use lower heat level liquid like paraffin, lamp oil or barbecue oil.

  4. Gora Standard Fire Sword

This is the original Gora Fire Sword, first created in 2003. It has a beautiful flame, is durable and light.

The "blade" is covered with 1.5 meters of kevlar wick.

The handle is made from rubber and finished with a round knob allowing swinging movements. The silicone hand guard protects your hands from the heat, stops paraffin running on to the handle and also gives the sword a more authentic look.<br />The core is made from fibre glass making it flexible and durable

The Fire Sword is best used for dancing and swinging style moves, or to act out a fight. It is also suitable for throwing type tricks, but if this is your specialty, we recommend you go for the Flying Sword.

The core of the Fire Sword is a 10 mm fiber glass rod. The handles start with a 40 mm wooden ball knob followed by a soft spongy EPDM tube grip. A silicone disc acts as a shield to protect your hands and arms from the flames.

The tip of the blade is wrapped by a 25 mm reinforced kevlar wick to protect from abrasion. If this part is damaged, we recommend you don’t use the sword until it is replaced as this part is much easier to repair.

With the optional magnetic connection you can connect two swords and use them like a huge staff to truly surprise your audience! If you choose a connector, it also includes the second fire sword. The magnetic connection is really handy and easy to fix and release on the stage. You can use your sword-staff to spin softly, but please be aware that a heavy swing may cause the connector to release!

The weight of a fire sword is 355g, and a pair of swords with magnetic connection is 750g.

Feel the force and have a safe fight!

    Recommendations for use:

Have cooling down breaks and stops. Too much heat breaks the fiberglass!

Do not hit each other, only dance, throw or imitate the fight.

Do not keep the swords downwards continuously.

Don't put it on the ground while burning.

Use lower heat level liquids like paraffin, lamp oil or barbecue oil. Do not use white spirit or benzene.

  5. Gora Vulcano Sword

    Fire Throwing Sword

To make huge fireballs with your sword.

This unique tool is a combination of the Fire Swing Sword and the Vul-Cane.

First, you need to apply the Lycopodium into the sword's blade with the help of a funnel, then you can apply the paraffin with a syringe. You must ensure there is no excess fuel dripping anywhere near the tip of the blade, otherwise the Lycopodium will become wet and turn into mud.

From that moment you set the Lycopodium into the blade, you have to keep the Sword upside. Light the Sword, then make sure that there is no person or any flammable material in about a 6-meter-diameter. If the space is safe, you can start swinging the Sword. The centrifugal force will bring out the powder which will ignite upon contact with the head and makes a huge flame effect.

The empty and dry Sword weights 427g

    - This gear is for advanced fire performers

    - Use it carefully, don't use it in wind.

    - Don’t inhale during the explosion, because you may inhale the burning powder.

    - Use lower heat level liquids like paraffin, lamp oil or barbecue oil.

    - Do not use white spirit or benzene.
